The Importance of Using An Antioxidant Serum
We were always told to wear sunscreen everyday. It will protect us from the harmful UV rays and prevent sun damaged skin and early wrinkling.
New studies show that SPF alone isn’t enough to protect you from sun damage. Yes, they block UVA and UVB rays, but those rays only account for 7% of solar energy.
New research has found that infrared radiation, which makes up 54% of solar energy, also causes aging AND may be worse than UV rays!
As it was discovered, infrared radiation penetrates deeper than UV rays. They produce those nasty free radicals that not only age you but also destroy your skin.
In addition to putting on sunscreen, you must also apply an antioxidant serum. An antioxidant serum that has a combination of vitamins C, E, and ferulic acid, a naturally occurring antioxidant and sunscreen, prevents free radicals from robbing your skin of health and youth.
Wear the antioxidant serum under your sunscreen. Just make sure your sunscreen contains zinc and titanium dioxide, not Avobenzone and Octinoxate, which promote wrinkles!
